Business Development
A North German native and generalist with wide experience in corporate and business development including in recruitment services, Henrik oversees the big picture, managing organizational matters in Germany to ensure a smooth start for both employers and candidates.
Pragya Dubey
Talent Acquisition – Hospitality
With a background in establishing a leading catering and hotel management college in Gujarat before coming to Germany, Pragya plays a pivotal role in nurturing our hospitality network in India. She was also operating a recruitment firm in India.
Riya Balasubramanyam
Talent Acquisition – Healthcare
Originally from Kerala, Riya moved to Germany to pursue medical training. Drawing from her own experiences, she supports Indian candidates as they embark on their journeys in Germany. She was working as a Healthcare Recruiter quite shortly after coming to Germany.
Our Story
It all started two years ago when we (Henrik & Pragya) were deep into planning our wedding. During a casual conversation, a hotelier mentioned the struggle to find workers in Germany’s hotel industry and asked if professionals from India might be interested. We didn’t think much of it at the time, being caught up in wedding plans.
But then, two years later, both another hotel representative and the German Chamber of Commerce and Industry posed the same question. This time, we realized there was a real need that we could help fill. That’s how Fernweh-Talent was born—to connect talented professionals from India with opportunities in Germany’s hospitality sector, driven by a shared Fernweh for new experiences.
Seeing the potential in the healthcare nursing industry as well, Riya, with her experience and passion in this field, joined our team, sharing our vision and determination.
Our team is a blend of migrants and locals, so we truly get it—the excitement, the fears, the challenges of starting anew in a foreign land.
